  What is not to be happy about, they banned a destructive cult, while I do disagree with the ideology behind the decision.

  Speed Limits

  i had to drive about 600km (370 miles) to hamburg and back again yesterday on business.. for those of you that don't know, large parts of the german network of autobahns (freeways) have no speed limit.. of course, those who say german's don't have a sense of humour won't have though in detail about having a network of two-lane dual carriageways with no speed limit.

  a very funny idea.. it was still a pretty good average speed (about 135km/h, 83mph) for the part of the journey in germany, and we , but as i got up to 220km/h (135mph) at various points and cruised over 160km/h (100mph) a lot, if they'd been a third lane it would have been a lot higher.

  one side effect is once you are back down to normal highway speeds (120km/h) it feels like you're doing 50k/mh.

  I don't like to talk about my speeding habits. I dont mind talking about my roommates though :) A few weeks ago he managed to get a ticket for doing 99 (he was really doing 125) in a 70 zone coming up the 5 from socal. The cop took it easy on him, but the ticket still cost $500. Most people get ill when he is behind the wheel, except for me, since we drive the same way.

  One more victory for the Christians and it sucks!!!

  i saw that today the supreme court threw out the case with the atheist father arguing that the under god phrase in the pledge of allegiance was unconstitutional.

  i guess the case was thrown out on a technicality because the daughter does not live with her father but with her christian mother thus making the father's case invalid.

  i knew about this case but i did not realize that is was dubbie prez.

  LABD.. I am pleasantly surprised, a second time, by your response. Has someone hacked LABD's account?

  Regarding the LA county seal, I think there are too many powerful jews in LA county for them to tolerate a cross on the county seal.
